Responsibilities - Service Technician:

· Diagnose, repair, and maintain Kia and other makes of vehicles to manufacturer standards

· Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, brake jobs, tire rotations, and inspections

· Manage advanced diagnostic equipment and resources in order to accurately diagnose customer concerns

· Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle status

· Document all work performed and recommend additional repairs or maintenance as needed

· Maintain a clean and organized work environment

· Adhere to safety and compliance protocols at all times

Qualifications:

· At least 5 years of experience is required

· ASE certification preferred - we pay for certification

· Familiarity with Kia systems a plus, but not required - training available

· Transmission experience is a bonus

· Bilingual Spanish / English is a plus

· High school diploma or GED

· Valid driver's license and clean driving record

· Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Create engaging social media posts to drive customer traffic

       

· Assist customers in finding a vehicle that meets their needs by staying current on inventory

       

· Demonstrate vehicle features and options

       

· Answer questions about financing, warranties, and maintenance plans

       

· Follow up with buyers to ensure satisfaction and referrals

       

· Inspect lot vehicles daily and report issues to management

       

· Assist in merchandising the lot for maximum sales impact
